Client: PACLIM Conference
Brief: Create a t-shirt design that embodied the subject "Drought & Deluge: Challenges Facing Climate Science and Policy in the West." Keeping the colors to a maximum of two.
Target Audience: Educators, Nature Focused, 30+ Age Range, Trail Blazers.
Intentions: I created this design focusing on life and death on the western desert floor. The main focus of the piece is the big horn sheep, representing an endangered species due to the effects of climate change of extreme drought. The right side shows life, and the left side death, to create an emotional connection. I chose to depict the drought and deluge aspect in an abstract manner with the desert floor, with the crackling grounds in a waved motion.
